SECOND ATTEMPT!

painting with ink

this is my recent paiting i have done using ink's...as you can see it hasnt turned out as good cos of my poor drawing of faces and shape but it isn't to bad.
its meant to be my friend mark but doesnt look like him..but ill keep practicing!!:D..practice makes perfect!!

legoland

legoland is my second home!i love it...i been twice already....thats the great thing about having annual pass i can go whenever i want...well..kind of...cant go in august but thats ok!i mainly just go there to pick a brick,i dont go on the rides since i go alone.

also the good thing is that its near,so havent got far to travel....but £4.40 for return on a legoland shuttle is expensive!..well not anymore since i got a scooter..hooray!no more lifts :D

the thing that i loved about legoland is they have this miniland...its soo AWESOME!!i spent like..forever observing how things were built and what piece..etc...im such a big kid at heart and i love it!i was mainly interested in how the ppl were built..its soo cool!..dont get me started about the castles and buildings there...waaahh...they were very impressive!!..its so awesome what people can build out of lego!

this is my *pick a brick*..cost me£9.70...wich isnt bad i think...theres a lot there..i was like a kid grabbing the bricks and putting it in the bag and spending ages..haha...

below i made my own person made out of lego with a bit of help from my pics...im good at copy right..HAHAH!althou i dint have the exact pieces i wanted but i managed to pull it off,i think its looks ok if u ask me.

lego muffin

Today i made a rasberry muffin with cream on top!whatcha think??looks yummy,right?..hehe ;)

This muffin i did (pic above)isnt all my creation as i have used my friends *lego muffin* to help me build one of my own...(pic below)...its not copyright....right?.hehe..

so what i did was carefully observe my friends muffin,what pieces he used and where he places them on the lego ,the only thing i copied was the cream.....if i had the pieces...

The hardest thing was that i dint actaully have enough lego bricks that i wanted or colour so this model isn't one of my best one's but saying that, im proud of myself considering few months ago i dint know much about how to put it all together,i started off by buying lego sets and going by the book to help me build it,but now i prefer to create something that is mine and unique.

It wasn't the easiest thing to build for me as i havent had enough practice and by having very limited pieces of lego i had wich i now need to buy lots of cos im running out!!

Bristol finally finished :D

Well,its been a VERY long time since i updated my blog,reason being is cos i wasn't happy with the Bristol paiting before..it went wrong then i got upset and then i decided not to draw for a while.
SO today i finally decided to finish my bristol painting and i think it went ok...not the best but practice makes perfect,so im not going to be to harsh on myself..i think i did well considering im not good with landscapes.
on the mean time ill just keep drawing :D

Bristol unfinished

Sorry for the long update, i havent been on a paiting mood.Im sorry to say that i won't be finishing the Bristol painting as i have ruined it,i thought it was going well until i added what seems to look like a big great pile of trees/bush...looks like a jungle.(last pic)

to be fair i dont know the first thing about Watercolours or how to paint a tree using Watercolour or what paint brushes to use.

This is my first and last landscape painting as i am really crap at it and don't really enjoy it,i think you can see that straight away when you look at it.

Also for some reason i thought the bricks at the bottom of the bridge was different..so decided to paint the rest another day and yesterday i did just that....BUT couldnt remember what colours i mixed for the previous bricks of the bridge..therefore the Bridge is ruined to as well as sky as i used the wrong brush.

Just because i like to draw doesnt mean im good at it and im really questioning if im actually good at it..hhmm....

Can you spot where i have gone wrong??...if you ask me....the whole paiting has gone wrong..lack of brush technique,mixing colours,experience etc.:(
To be honest im not in a good mood myself and i took it out on the painting wich now has made me really sad.The thing with me is im such a perfectionist,i want to get everything perfect first time round....but who does????...am i asking for the impossible?
I hate it when a painting or drawing goes wrong..i know practice makes perfect but i feel like theres no room for mistakes if i really want to improve...guess i can kiss the art course goodbye!
nevermind...its never to late,im still on my young years!
Lets hope i can do a better job at lego...wich i dont think i can...hai!

bristol painting

i havent been doing any artwork for a week or so cos my *art studio* dint have a light bright enough....so i went out to buy a halogen lamp and it works wonders..i can finally put my art studio into good use :D!
i decided to continue with my Clifton Suspension Bridge as i havent touched it for a while and this is how far i've gotten so far..still needs A LOT of work...but i think is going ok considering i dont really know how to use watercolours and not great at landscapes.
i ruined the sky on the right hand side as i used the wrong paint brush and you can see each stroke..it doesnt look good....i might have to add a cloud or leave it how it is and learn from it,i dont want to add another coat as it will only make the sky darker wich is not what i want.

i just realised how bad my painting is...i cant even paint round circles or write in straight line..hai...looks quite bad if you stare at it..

stupid wonky 25...hmm....im going to try and fix that somehow..

NOW this is my first BAD attempt on chinese painting....what can i say....i need A LOT of practice so for this reason i havent got much to say..

i have no idea how to paint with a chinese paint brush to be fair and i dont think i have the right colours...so this was a big challenge for me and i failed it...but its ok..
